The land of “amore” is the inspiration for a July 20 concert in Hempfield Park.

Alabaster Performing Arts will present Mary McCormack and Jessie Glover singing tunes made popular by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and others during an Italian American Concert at 7 p.m. in the park’s open-air Smail Amphitheatre.

“That’s Amore,” “New York New York,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You” and “Proud To Be An American” are among songs on the set list.

“We are very excited to be back with our live audience after a year and a half,” said Glover, who will be crooning Sinatra and Martin tunes such as “Come Fly With Me” and “You Make Me Feel So Young.”

Alabaster founder McCormack will sing “O Sole Mio,” “Speak Softly Love,” “The Prayer“ and “Time To Say Goodbye.”

Ann Marie Lewis will join the program to sing “Come On-a My House,” “Mumbo Italiano” and “Besame Mucho.”

“This is a fun evening celebrating life and being back together,” said McCormack, who has toured Italy twice.

Tickets are $10, or free for children under 12. For tickets and more information, call 724-516-5189.
