A 18-year-old man has died following a shooting Monday afternoon in the Crafton Heights neighborhood in Pittsburgh.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as Isiah Brewer.

Police were called to the intersection of Middletown Road and Runnymede Street just before 3:45 p.m., according to city public safety officials.

Initially responding to a ShotSpotter report of six gunshots, officers en route received a call for a male who’d been shot.

After arriving at the 2600 block of Middletown Road, they found Brewer with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and torso. He was taken by ambulance to an area hospital in critical condition, where he died.

Cameras near the scene saw a vehicle flee shortly after the shooting. Responding officers stopped it near the West End Circle. Inside was a second man, who’d been shot in the leg. He was transported from Steuben Street to an area hospital in serious, but stable condition.

Three uninjured people in the vehicle were transported to police headquarters for questioning, along with a juvenile male seen fleeing the area on foot. Police took the juvenile into custody and recovered a firearm from him.

No arrests have been made, police said.
