A shooting Monday morning in Wilkinsburg left one woman dead, according to Allegheny County Police.
Police received a 911 call just before 8 a.m. for a shooting on Princeton Boulevard, authorities said. Inside a home on the street, first responders found a 26-year-woman who had been shot. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner identified the woman as Zaviawa Gathers, of Wilkinsburg.
Gathers was pronounced dead at the scene.
