We’ve reached the weekend. Here are some ways to spend it in Pittsburgh.
Pretty Woman
The North American tour of “Pretty Woman: The Musical,” is in town at 8 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Sunday as part of the PNC Broadway in Pittsburgh Series at the Benedum Center, Downtown.
The cast features rising Broadway star Olivia Valli playing the role of Vivian Ward, opposite Adam Pascal’s Edward Lewis.
The musical is based on the 1990 romantic comedy movie starring Richard Gere and Julia Roberts, in which a wealthy businessman falls for an uncultured escort whom he picks up on a lark during a weekend business trip.
Two Carnegie Mellon University alumni are involved in the production — Matthew Stocke on the stage and producer Paula Wagner.
Tickets start at $33.
Guests must show proof of covid-19 vaccination or provide a negative test.
Masks are required for guests age 2 and older.

Teenie Harris
“Through Our Lens, Inspired by Charles ‘Teenie’ Harris” is from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the 38a Gallery in East Liberty. Guests can meet Dominick McDuffie, who will discuss the process of photographing everyday surroundings.
This is one of several workshops by artists McDuffie, a Pittsburgh-based artist working primarily in film photography, and Njaimeh Njie, a photographer, filmmaker and multimedia producer. They developed the workshops in response to the work of Harris to encourage attendees to consider their environment as they document people and places in their lives.
Admission is pay what you wish.
Participants should bring their own device to take pictures such as a cellphone, iPad or camera.
Some of Harris’ work is also on display inside the City-County Building’s main entrance on Grant Street, Downtown, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Ross Street entrance remains open after hours for later visitors. It features more than 50 photographs, examples of Harris’ prototype cameras, books and other memorabilia from Harris’ life and work in the Pittsburgh region.

Pittsburgh Glass Center
Pittsburgh Glass Center in the East End hosting a reception for “Full Spectrum: Visionaries Elevating Art, Craft, and Design” from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday.
The exhibit hosts are Crafting the Future, ORIGINS and The Color Network. It showcases 18 makers of color from around the country and highlights their work through diverse approaches from production vessel makers, to wall-hung tapestry artists, to artists working in large scale installation.

I Made It! Market
The Block Northway in Ross is hosting I Made It Mine! Craft Market from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
The I Made It! Market’s nomadic indie craft pop-up marketplace features homemade products such as art, clothing, toys, beauty products, ceramics, jewelry, leather goods and pet items from more than 100 artists.
Wigle Whiskey will have signature cocktails for sale, such as a cherry old fashioned and cherry cider pours.
Boyd & Blair will feature its vodka drinks.
Some of the Block Northway farmer’s market vendors will also participate.

Attack Theatre
“Curiosity: The Playbook” is showing at 7 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday at Attack Theatre Studios in Lawrenceville.
The performance includes dance, music and storytelling, featuring an original score by three-time Grammy-nominated artist Dave Eggar. The show is choreographed by artistic directors Peter Kope and Michele de la Reza.
The 55-minute piece is described as “exploring how everyday life may get lost in the destination, but there’s beauty in the journey.” The production seeks to “learn by wonder, move through play.”
Tickets are $35.
