The City of Pittsburgh has announced the 2023 Dollar Bank Cinema in the Park summer schedule.

All movies are free of charge and begin at dusk.

The movie season begins in June with a monthlong schedule of pop-up films at a variety of parks throughout Pittsburgh.

To learn when and where these movies will be shown each week, CitiParks suggests cinema-goers follow the Office of Special Events on social media, or check the city’s events website.

In July and August, movies will be shown weekly at Highland Park, Riverview Park, Flagstaff Hill, Schenley Plaza, Arsenal Park, Brookline Memorial Park, Grandview Park, McBride Park, and the West End/Elliott Overlook.

Cinema in the Park is also debuting two new locations this year: Banksville Park and Ormsby Park. Riverview Park will once again host a full summer schedule of movies on Saturday evenings immediately following the “Stars at Riverview” concert series.

The schedule includes box office hits such as “Top Gun: Maverick,” “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” and “Lightyear,” while also offering classic titles including “Matilda” and “Jaws.”

For the complete Cinema in the Park schedule and any inclement weather or cancellation updates, go to
