Police were still looking for the driver of the car involved in the crash, believe to be a dark-colored sedan with silver wheels.

The car struck the woman as she walked on the bridge at about 3 a.m. Saturday and the collision knocked her over the railing, police said.

Her body was not discovered until Sunday morning in a parking lot under the bridge.
