A Bethel Park cat rescue had to scramble to find homes for several felines after a car crashed into the charity’s community room on Monday.

In a Facebook post Monday evening, Cali Cats Rescue said that its power had been shut off after the accident, making it impossible for cats to stay there.

Cali Cats was able to find temporary placements for the five adult cats, one feral, and a mom and babies. Now they are seeking foster families for cats and kittens on hold. It’s not clear when the building can reopen.

A photo shows a portion of an inside wall that has been pushed in. There may be some other damage to the South Park Road facility.

People who wish to help can call 412-599-1433, email calicats2021@gmail.com, go to calicatsrescue.com, or reply via the Facebook page.

Cali Cats Rescue is a nonprofit rescue, operated fully by volunteers. Foster families care for cats as they await placement.
