Saturday is the season opener for the Greensburg Farmers Market at Lynch Field, 520 New Alexandria Road. From 9 a.m.-noon, shop for locally grown fruits and vegetables, along with a variety of baked goods, prepared foods, jellies, honey, sauces, meats, wine and spirits and other seasonal items. The market will be open Saturday mornings, rain or shine, through mid-autumn.

Curiouser and curiouser

Mz. Jones Curiosities will have a pop-up show and sale Friday through Sunday at Green Beacon Gallery, 235 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg. Mz. Jones is a purveyor of “tasteful taxidermy and wearable oddities” made from ethically sourced insects and animals. Products include jewelry, framed art and whole specimens preserved by various methods.

Hours will be 5-9 p.m. Friday, noon-7 p.m. Saturday and 1-6 p.m. Sunday.

Afternoon delights

There’s live music outdoors this weekend at Greendance, The Winery at Sand Hill, at 306 Deer Field Road, Mt. Pleasant Township. Acoustic performer Meredith Holliday is first up from 1-4 p.m. Saturday. In more than two decades of music-making, Holliday has put her own spin on popular songs. Bruce Guay will perform from 1-4 p.m. Sunday. Guay started with 1970s Pittsburgh bands Lothlorien and Star Shower and now plays acoustic originals and rock classics.

Charcuterie class

A charcuterie board workshop is planned for 5-8 p.m. Saturday at Greenhouse Winery, 1048 Pinewood Road, Sewickley Township. Learn to create a beautiful charcuterie board and pair it with favorite wines. Instruction for the 21-and-older class will be led by Wine & Whirl.

Sips and strokes

A Paint & Sip event will begin at 4 p.m. Sunday at RSVP Gifts & More in the Macy’s wing upper level of Westmoreland Mall. Festivities will start with the wine tasting, followed by socially distanced painting at about 5:30 p.m. in the hallway in front of the store. Participants must be at the location by 5 p.m., when the mall’s outer doors will be locked.
