Dino’s Sports Lounge is closing its Greensburg location, according to a post on social media Sunday.
The restaurant has been open on Towne Square Drive for 15 years. The post indicated the reason for the closure was out of the control of restaurant ownership. Management refused to comment to the Trib when a reporter called Friday.
The Latrobe Dino’s location will not be affected.
“We extend a huge thank you to our staff for helping us to be successful for 15 years, and our guests, especially the ones who have become friends,” the post said.
It was unclear when the Greensburg restaurant would close.
The restaurant survived closures and restrictions related to covid-19 as well as a lack of workers in a difficult market in 2021, according to Trib archives. Then, ownership was forced to close the Greensburg restaurant on Mondays to avoid burning out existing staff as a sign outside sought workers.
