Wilkinsburg to host gun buyback, no questions asked

Wilkinsburg will host a a gun buyback program Saturday at its borough

Wilkinsburg will host a a gun buyback program Saturday at its borough building.

People turning in hand guns will receive a $50 Giant Eagle gift card. A rifle can earn someone a $25 Giant Eagle card.

The buyback runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. People must be 18 to participate. No questions will be asked of those turning in guns. Masks are required.

The buyback is sponsored by the Wilkinsburg Police Department and Wilkinsburg Sanctuary Project for Peace.

The borough building is located at 605 Ross Ave.
