It’s a Labor Day holiday weekend, three days off for some.
If you aren’t going to the Miller Lite Kickoff and Rib Festival outside Acrisure Stadium, here are some other ways to spend it — the weather should be perfect with temperatures in the 80s.
WWE
World Wrestling Entertainment’s “Payback” is coming to PPG Paints Arena, Uptown, at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. It will stream live exclusively on Peacock in the U.S. and WWE Network everywhere else.
Matches include Seth “Freakin” Rollins vs. Shinsuke Nakamura, Becky Lunch vs. Trish Stratus, Raquel Rodriguez vs. Rhea Ripley, Rey Mysterio vs. Austin Theory and La Knight vs. The Miz.
The match card is subject to change.

Labor Day parade
The annual Labor Day parade is Monday. It begins at 10 a.m. along Centre Avenue, Uptown, and will make its way down Grant Street to the Boulevard of the Allies and finish in front of the United Steelworkers building.
The parade, in its 39th year, is hosted by the Allegheny-Fayette Central Labor Council. It is one of the largest in the U.S.
The event, which welcomes members from the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA), celebrates the history of organized labor in the region. Molly’s Trolley will be available for those with mobility issues to ride in the parade. Trolley space is limited.

An earful of care
Pittsburgh rock group Sommelier’s food drive and benefit music event for the Northside Food Pantry is on Friday at Allegheny City Brewing.
The band fosters collaboration with Pittsburgh artists and artisans for support of Pittsburghers via food and literacy programs and organizations that support the LGBTQ+ community.
Music begins at 6 p.m.
Guests are invited to bring toiletries — toothpaste is especially needed — and/or non-perishable food items.

Club Cafe
Pittsburgh alternative rock band Guides will release its debut extended play, “When Everything Reverses,” at 8 p.m. Saturday at Club Café on the South Side.
Local bands Old Neon and Short Fictions, presented by Opus One, also will perform at the 21-and-over show.

Celebrating Mac Miller
“Colors and Shapes: An Immersive Mac Miller Experience” is happening from 3 to 10 p.m. Friday at Velum Fermentation brewery on the South Side.
The event will feature music, art, activism and food inspired by the late Pittsburgh rapper. Chef Gabriel Knecht started Other People Need Food, an organization to honor Mac Miller with menus inspired by his songs. There will be entertainment by Iron City Circus Arts and hip-hop disc jockeys playing Mac Miller’s songs. A mural of the artist inside the brewery was done by Tyler Podomik and Dejouir Brown.
Part of proceeds from raffle tickets, food and beverage sales will be donated to the Mac Miller Fund, which supports young artists and musicians in underserved communities.
