Seton Hill on Friday announced Mandy Sansbury as its new head softball coach.

Sansbury brings an extensive resume to Greensburg, with 19 years of college coaching experience.

Her stops, starting with the most recent, include Division I Indiana Indianapolis (two years), Division II programs Mount Olive (nine years) and Glenville State (three years), and Division I West Georgia (five years).

She was the head coach at Mount Olive and Glenville State.

Sansbury replaces Cassie Moore, a former PSAC West Coach of the Year, who resigned after three seasons.

Seton Hill finished 29-17 last season after going 0-2 in the PSAC playoffs.

“I want to sincerely thank the search committee and the Seton Hill University community for the opportunity to lead the Griffin softball program,” Sansbury said in a news release. “I am truly honored to join an institution that holds such a strong tradition of academic and athletic excellence. I’m excited to build upon the program’s established success and to work alongside student-athletes who strive for greatness both on the field and in the classroom. I look forward to contributing to a culture of integrity, hard work, and continued achievement.”

Sansbury went 247-174 at Indiana and won a Conference Carolinas title.

As a player, Sansbury was at Ashland for three seasons and West Virginia Wesleyan for one. She earned All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and all-region honors as a catcher.
